Thanks again to Year 4 who have produced some really lovely logos for the project. We're going to scan them all so everyone can see your brilliant work.
Today we learnt about some of the stories in North Road Burial Ground including that of Miss Snow and her cat Tiny that was supposed to kill the mice and rats at the local scrap yard, but instead visited Miss Snow. Or the young girl who died in 1946 in an accident at Fairfax Drive whose name is no longer remembered. Or 11 year old Antonio Tiani, the son of the family that ran the sweet shot in North Road before the World Wars, who was killed by tuberculosis. We also learned about the first memories of everyone in Year 4 including that of
